Plan The Perfect Denver Bachelorette Party-2

All of us at The Bridal Collection love weddings! Seriously, we can’t get enough of them.  For 17 years, we’ve been making bridal dreams come true for Rocky Mountain brides.  Beyond making our brides look and feel beautiful on their big day, we like sharing wedding tips and ideas we’ve gathered over the years. We especially love parties so we’ve put together a list of unique and fun bridal shower and bachelorette party ideas.  Let the planning begin…

Field Day Fun

Who didn’t love field day? Sunshine, popsicles and colored ribbons.  Bring back elementary school awesomeness with a Field Day for your friends and family.   Planning an adult field day is fairly simple and inexpensive.  Reserve a space at a local park, check out Pinterest for game ideas, make up a batch of boozy popsicles and you’re ready to go.  Don’t forget the sunscreen and water.

Food Lovers Fiesta

Personalized cooking classes are a fun way to get creative while you celebrate.  Stir Cooking School in The Highlands has more than 35 menu options for private events from Dim Sum parties to My Big Fat Greek Wedding.  Each menu has five dishes and everyone gets to make the meal in a hands-on experience. Once all the dishes have been prepared, the group heads to an upstairs dining area to enjoy their feast.  For a less expensive event, gather at someone’s house to create a customized meal together.  Make it special by adding twinkle lights, a signature cocktail and personalized place cards.

Bridal Brews

For a laid-back Colorado celebration, consider hosting your party at a local brewery.  The options are endless thanks to Colorado’s huge beer scene.  Denver Beer Company’s Barrel Room is a private event space with indoor and outdoor seating for up to 90 guests and catering options from 5-course meals to food trucks.  The Farmhouse at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton also has event space for small and large groups.  If your group isn’t into beer, consider hosting an event at a winery or distillery.

Getting Crafty

canvas_and_cocktails_bachelorette_party Canvas and Cocktails and Upstairs Circus will help you channel your inner artist while giggling with your girlfriends.  Canvas and Cocktails instructors give step-by-step instructions for creating a masterpiece while you sip cocktails and listen to upbeat music.  At Upstairs Circus, you select a craft project and follow paper instructions making it easier to chat while you create (just be careful with the hammer).  You could also ask the most creative person in your group to come up with a project and then teach all of you how to complete it while enjoying snacks at home.

Dance Party

Warm up for the wedding with a themed-dance party.  At Overstreet Dance School in Englewood, you can join a pre-scheduled class or social – they offer West Coast Swing, Belly Dancing, Country Dancing, even Rumba – or rent out the space for a private party.  Ask your guests to dress for the theme for even more fun!   Share your ideas with us so we can keep passing new ones on. We’d love to see photos too!   If you haven’t already purchased your wedding gown or are still searching for accessories, maids or moms dresses, call 720.493.9454 today to book your appointment at The Bridal Collection, Colorado’s Best Bridal Shop.
