About Tim & Holly

Their story began 13 years ago. Holly and Tim met while working together for a custom home builder in Nebraska and remained friends despite Tim’s eventual move to Colorado. Later on, they ran into one another at a country music festival. Tim invited Holly to visit him in Denver and a few weeks later she made the trip and the rest is history. A little over a year later Holly packed up and moved to Colorado to be closer to Tim. They’ve spent the last nine years together loving all of the wonderful things that Colorado has to offer – camping, hiking, traveling, grilling out, drinking wine, and their sweet fur-babies Giada and Mia.

The Best Birthday Present

The couple had been together for over seven years when Tim asked Holly to go to “that jewelry store” one day while they were downtown taking Santa photos with the dogs. She had no clue he meant they were going to look at engagement rings. Holly had fallen in love with a particular ring designer, so they visited one of the two stores in Denver where they were sure to find a nice selection. After trying on numerous styles, she found her favorite. Five months came and went – by then, Holly was certain it just wasn’t going to happen. When Holly’s birthday rolled around, they went on a weekend getaway, stopping or a hike near Breckenridge. Once they got to the top of the mountain, they posed for a few photos at an overlook. Tim told Holly he had a birthday present for her and asked if she wanted it. She replied, “Sure, what is it?” Then, he pulled a small box out of his Camelbak – with a certain logo she recognized! After she opened it, he asked her to marry him! They celebrated for the rest of the weekend eating at Holly’s favorite restaurant and doing outdoorsy things.

“It Was The One”

When it came to shopping for a wedding dress, Holly opted to go solo. She visited 5 or 6 bridal shops in Denver, but nothing she tried on fit her vision of how she wanted to feel on her wedding day. Walking into The Bridal Collection immediately felt different. The store itself and the staff were so welcoming! She felt comfortable and was in awe of how beautiful the bridal shop was. Her bridal stylist gave her a tour of the showroom, explaining each designer’s style and price point. Then, Holly picked out the wedding dresses that caught her eye. After hearing Holly’s vision, her bridal stylist grabbed a few more dresses that fit the bill. Once she tried on several wedding dresses, she and her stylist narrowed it down to three favorites. Holly made an appointment to come back when her family was in town. When the time came, she tried on the three dresses, saving her favorite for last. The moment she put on the Martina Liana style number 765 again, she knew it was the one. The elegant pearl-beaded lace detail, dramatic low V neckline, and illusion back with romantic buttons were everything she dreamed of and more. Once she saw herself in the mirror, happy tears began flowing – as they did a second time when she slipped into her perfect dress on her wedding day!

Husband and Wife Moments

Holly & Tim’s Colorado wedding day was filled with family, friends, and so many beautiful details. However, the memories that Holly will cherish forever are the moments between just the two of them. When she saw him during their first look, all of the stress of getting ready and planning melted away. Later, they shared their vows with one another with no one else being able to hear. The feeling of intimacy while they read their own words to one another was a feeling she will never forget.
