How They Met

Tommy’s family runs a ministry called Outfitters for Christ on a 100-year old, working cattle ranch in Yampa, Colorado. After Reagan became involved with the ministry, she ended up spending three summers working for the organization. During her time there, she got to know Tommy’s family really well. When she arrived for her third year, she found Tommy there too, working for his dad. Throughout that summer, the two became really good friends, and started dating. The rest is history!

A Destination Proposal

One chilly February day, Tommy was supposed to be in Vermont for a work trip. He called at midnight, to let her know he arrived safely and that he had a three hour drive to get to his filming location. At about 5am, Reagan received another phone call from Tommy. She assumed he was letting her know he had made it to the filming location. To her surprise, Tommy urgently explained that she needed to get up immediately or else she would miss her flight! After finding out her roommate had packed her a bag for the weekend, she quickly got ready, jumped in an Uber and headed for the airport. Her destination? Portland, Oregon!

When she got off the plane, Tommy was waiting for her with a cup of coffee in hand. They departed for a mini road trip to find what Tommy dubbed “the best lunch in Oregon”. After a picturesque drive, they ended up in Cannon Beach – one of Reagan’s favorite parts of the country. They walked around, exploring the city streets, and strolling the beach toward Haystack Rock. After a while, they heard a camera clicking. They turned around to find a stranger taking a Polaroid photo of them! She gave them the photo, but before she walked off, Tommy asked her to stay for just one more second. (and one more photo). He got down on one knee and asked Reagan to spend the rest of her life with him! Of course, she said yes.

The Search for the Dream Dress

While visiting several bridal shops in the Denver metro area, Reagan found many gorgeous wedding dresses, but nothing she could picture herself wearing walking down the aisle toward Tommy. Starting to feel discouraged, she went to her last stop – The Bridal Collection. Her stylist encouraged her to take a step back from what she thought she wanted and try on some dresses that might surprise her. She quickly fell in love with Justin Alexander style 8791. The delicate spaghetti straps, romantic sweetheart neckline, and plunging back were perfect for her Park Church, Denver wedding. The chantilly lace and fitted silhouette added a hint of vintage. She completed her wedding day look with a handcrafted headpiece by Veil Trends.

Reagan said, “Weddings are such beautiful events, because everyone you know and love is gathered in one place to cheer you on.” Her wedding day was filled with love, joy and unity. After they said their vows and were pronounced husband and wife, they had an epic dance party – which included a Michael Jackson dance-off.

Congratulations, Reagan & Tommy! Thank you for sharing your special day with us.
