Have you ever wondered how bridal designers come up with names for their companies? Sometimes they want to remind you of an emotion, like L’Amour by Calla Blanche (The Love), but more often they use a name that holds a special significance, such as Justin Alexander (the owner’s first and middle name) or Lazaro (named for head designer, Lazaro Perez).

When The Bridal Collection created and curated our in-house collection of wedding gowns aimed specifically to our Colorado brides, it didn’t take us long to decide on a name. The Kathryn Elizabeth name was not only inspired by generations of the Rediger and Crandall family, but more specifically named for the daughter and granddaughter of the store owners.

Born in Colorado, she represents the diversified women and their interests. Whether jeeping through the mountains or singing in her school musicals, she is a true Colorado girl. We wanted our collection to be just as distinctive as the women in our state – traditional or rustic, classic or contemporary, Kathryn Elizabeth is all of us. Just like the real girl behind the name has so many different aspects to who she is, Kathryn Elizabeth wedding dresses have many different styles and looks, all representing the beauty and uniqueness of Colorado brides.
