Many have dreamed of a “love at first sight” moment; that feeling of taking one look and just knowing, “that’s the one”. Those who have experienced it cannot fully describe it. There truly are no words that explain it, it is simply a magical feeling. This love at first sight moment typically applies to a person, but many brides have experienced a similar feeling when they first lay eyes on “The Dress”. While some brides go through countless gowns in search of the perfect one, they find that the more wedding dresses they try on, the more confused they are about what they truly want. Katie’s experience was unlike most brides. The dress she wore down the aisle was the first (and only!) wedding dress she ever tried on. As soon as she saw Lazaro style number 3108 in The Bridal Collection’s showroom, she fell in love. It was so unique and so stunning! Her first words were “I know that Drew will absolutely love this!”. She quickly took it back to her dressing room to try on. There was no question about it – this was her dress. Katie knew that any other dress she tried on wouldn’t compare, so there was no need to look any further. Relying on her instinct – that perfect magical moment – she said “Yes!” to her dream Lazaro wedding dress.

Favorite Memory of the Day

Katie and Drew opted for a first look on their wedding day. For a few special moments, it would just be the two of them soaking in the importance of the day. As Katie walked toward the man she was so in love with, she knew that their forever would begin the second Drew turned around. When they saw each other, all of the nerves and stress that come with a wedding day faded. In the end, all that mattered was that they were committing a lifetime to one another, under God and in front of their loved ones. Katie will forever cherish that special moment together celebrating the beginning of the rest of their lives.

The Perfect Dress

It’s no surprise that Katie fell in love with her Lazaro wedding dress the second she saw it. The soft, blush tulle radiated romance and the unique floral, jewel-encrusted band was unlike anything she had ever seen. Once she saw herself in the mirror wearing the dress, she was struck with how it looked as though it had been made for her. The pleated silk organza sweetheart bodice with a fitted natural waist was both flattering and beautifully feminine. Glamour and romance, with a hint of color, came together to create Katie’s dream wedding dress.
