Dogs & Dresses Denver Adoption Event | The Bridal Collection Events

On Saturday, September 30th, Colorado brides will have the chance to say yes to the dress and a dog at The Bridal Collection’s first-ever Dogs & Dresses event.

The Bridal Collection is partnering with Douglas County Canine Rescue (DCCR) in an effort to find foster homes and forever homes for dozens of dogs.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at The Bridal Collection at 4151 E. County Line Rd in Centennial.  Festivities for the day will include a photo opportunity, yard games, dog treats and human treats courtesy of The Makery.  Anyone interested in supporting Douglas County Canine Rescue is encouraged to attend the event, not just brides.

Potential foster and adoptive families can fill out applications online prior to the event.  The adoption fee for adult dogs is $275; the adoption fee for puppies is $325.

DCCR is about one thing, helping dogs in need! Douglas County Canine Rescue is a 501 c3 nonprofit, no kill animal rescue. Their mission is to rescue abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then put them with foster homes until the dogs are adopted into the loving homes that they need and deserve! Douglas County Canine Rescue does not have a facility. They rely solely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who open their hearts to help them take care of the animal orphans that desperately need help.

All DCCR adoptions are done at weekly adoption events. Events are first come, first serve and they do not put holds on dogs. All of the dogs are in foster homes, so they will arrive at the event when their foster brings them. You can fill out an adoption application before the event or the day of the event. If you e-mail your application to [email protected] by noon the Friday before the event, DCCR will process it before the event. You will receive a phone call when your application has been approved or denied. If you are interested in a particular dog or puppy, please get the event on time to increase your chances of getting the dog you want! You will take your new best friend home with you the day of the adoption!
