Rustic Elegance

Traci took advantage of Pinterest and Etsy while planning her rustic elegance Baldoria on the Water wedding. For the last few years, Pinterest has been a helpful resource for brides who are planning a wedding. Pages upon pages of inspiration, DIY ideas, and helpful tips and tricks can be found at the click of a button! After scrolling Pinterest, Traci fell in love with a color palette that transitioned between summer and fall; she added pops of rose gold and champagne to brighten things up. Then, she played into the venue’s Tuscan vibe (and her love for wine) by using wine elements, such as cork place cards and wine barrels. The bride also took advantage of Baldoria’s large space, offering guests corn hole games, a cigar bar, and a fire pit for s’mores. Sounds like our kind of party!

In addition to finding unique wedding ideas on Pinterest, many brides also search wedding dresses to find styles that appeal to them. Pinterest is flooded with images from our favorite designers, showcasing beautiful boho dresses, glamorous gowns, and classic, elegant designs. Some brides fall in love with one specific dress, find a local bridal shop that carries the designer, and end up choosing that exact dress! Others gain inspiration for dresses, but end up choosing something completely different than what’s on their “secret” wedding dress board!

The Dress

Traci brought her mom and bridesmaids to three Denver bridal shops in search of a dress for her Baldoria on the Water wedding. The Bridal Collection was their third and final stop. “I had some favorites from day one but wanted to still look at TBC. I had the best experience there!” We’re so happy to hear that! Her consultant was mindful of budget, and they pulled a wide range of dresses to try. Originally, Traci thought she wanted to wear a strapless dress with a mermaid silhouette. However, as they browsed the large showroom of wedding dresses, a few different styles caught her eye. As soon as she saw Stella York style 6404, she knew she had to try it on.

When she saw herself in the mirror, there wasn’t a doubt in her mind that it was the perfect dress for her. The dress features a stunning high neckline, sophisticated silhouette, luxurious crepe and lace material, and sweeping train. The designers at Stella York truly knew what they were doing when they created this dress — starting at the high neckline, the gorgeous graphic lace highlights the collarbone and traces down the bodice through the hips, creating a silhouette that hits all the right places.

A Special Guest

One of Traci’s favorite memories from their Baldoria on the Water wedding was when her husband surprised her with their dog for photos! She cried almost half of her makeup off when she heard the news, but it was totally worth it. Having sweet Mozzie be there for part of their special day was the very best thing!

Dogs at weddings is a trend we can totally get behind. We even had a photoshoot inspired by dogs at weddings! It was featured on Style Me Pretty.
