The Bridal Collection is Partnering with Compassion International in November

Giving back has always been important to us at The Bridal Collection. We believe in local community involvement and extending our reach around the world. During the month of November, we’re raising money to send sewing machines & other supplies to Compassion International’s sewing workshop. By making a purchase at The Bridal Collection between now and November 30, you are partnering with us in making a difference around the world.

At Compassion International’s sewing workshop, sewing machines and other supplies are provided to teach teens (primarily young ladies) the craft of tailoring clothes. Teens are able to earn money, improve their chances for job opportunities, and gain hope for a meaningful career. The sewing workshops are held in a Compassion Center providing a safe, clean environment. Invaluable skills are passed on to the younger generation through programs like this one. In addition to learning the art of sewing, these teens also learn important business skills. This endeavor is primarily funded through donations.

Both sewing and empowering young women are close to our hearts here at The Bridal Collection. Not only do we feel a connection to this cause because of our own work in tailoring, we are also excited to help these young ladies learn a useful trade.  Climbing out of poverty, as well as, overcoming inequality and discrimination, is a much more attainable dream when they are empowered by learning a marketable skill.
