The day you’ve been planning for and dreaming about for months is just around the corner.   To help gear up for the big day, we want to share the best advice we’ve heard throughout the years to help you enjoy your wedding day to the fullest:

Plan Quiet Time for yourself on the morning of the Wedding

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

There is no such thing as a perfect wedding – drinks will be spilled, groomsmen will be late, and your dress will get dirty, but, at the end of the day, none of that matters.  What matters is that you are marrying the love of your life – it doesn’t get any better than that!

Accept Help

During a wedding rehearsal, a pastor gave great advice to the wedding party and family.  He said “whatever goes wrong tomorrow, do your best to solve the problem without involving the couple so they can focus on each other.”  Genius.

Plan Alone Time for the two of You

Countless couples have shared with us that the time they valued most during their wedding day was the time that they spent alone together after the ceremony.  It was then they were able to express the emotions they felt leading up to the event and drink in the significance of the day.

Don’t plan a Brunch for the morning After

You are going to be physically and emotionally drained the day after your wedding.  If you’re not leaving on your honeymoon, you may want to just sit around in sweats together and chill the day after your wedding, not eat pancakes with your great aunt.  If you do want to spent time catching up with friends and family, especially those from out of town, plan a low-key afternoon or evening event.
