How He Asked

Brandy and Regan met in college and the two dated for almost 5 years before Regan popped the question. At the time, they lived in Georgia. Brandy found out that her company was going to move them to Colorado. Before they left Georgia, there was one hike that she had been dying to do. There was no better way to spend a day enjoying all that Georgia has to offer before they packed up and moved to the Rockies. They started the ascent to Amicalola Falls, the first stop on the Appalachian Trail. Once they reached the top of the Falls, Regan dropped to one knee and told Brandy that their love has been an adventure and he wanted to spend his life with her. Then, he asked her to marry him in front of all the other hikers! She said yes to forever, and they celebrated by enjoying the spectacular views.

In keeping with their engagement adventure, it only made sense that Brandy and Regan elope in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains.

Finding The Dress

After shopping at a couple of other bridal shops and not finding THE dress, Brandy noticed that The Bridal Collection was only a few miles from her office. One day, she dropped in to check the place out and fell in love. “Everyone I worked with was super friendly, knew exactly what I was picturing in my head and helped me stay on budget as well,” she said. Her bridal stylist encouraged her to try a more fitted look, and Brandy found the most romantic, vintage-inspired Rebecca Ingram dress. The allover-lace fit-and-flare features an illusion plunging neckline with scalloped edging. A double-keyhole back adds a touch of alluring elegance to this lace wedding dress. Once the alterations were finished, the perfect fit brought happy tears to her eyes.

Favorite Memory

When we asked Brandy about her favorite part of the wedding day, she said the entire day! The lovebirds spent the day with just their best friends and photographers in the beautiful Colorado mountains. They hiked from Bear Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park to Dream Lake, where they held the wedding ceremony. The two had a blast posing for photos with their incredible photographers, The Colagrossis. The Colorado sky didn’t disappoint, providing a breathtaking pink and purple sunset ending with an incredible storm off in the distance! The entire day was picture-perfect. Brandy and Regan’s wedding day surpassed all their expectations providing them with memories they will treasure together for the rest of their lives.
