The Bridal Collection Real Bride | Amalfi Coast Elopement

Bonnie’s strapless Sottero & Midgley wedding dress that she found at The Bridal Collection was the perfect accent to her stunning Amalfi coast elopement in Italy.

Alex and Bonnie went to the same high school but fell out of touch when Alex graduated. Alex never stopped thinking about Bonnie and they reconnected six months later. They have been together ever since! Over the years one of their favorite places to spend time together was the lake near Alex’s childhood home. On one of their visits they walked over to the romantic bridge where Alex had set up candles and numerous photos of their relationship. As they looked at each photo, Alex lit a candle while explaining the defining moments. The very last photo at the top of the bridge said, “Will you marry me?”. Alex got down on one knee and the rest is history!

When Bonnie shopped for her dress at The Bridal Collection, she said it was something she would never forget. “On my first day of dress shopping I was lucky enough to find the perfect dress that day! I had my mom, mother-in-law and two of my closest friends with me, which made the experience all the more intimate and special. In total, I tried on about 5-6 dresses. As my friend Sam was browsing all of the dresses, she immediately pulled out a sparkly, strapless ballgown and insisted that I try it on. I had always had an idea of my ‘ideal dress’, but the dress I ended up falling in love with was something I had never considered.”
