When we’re not helping brides find their dream wedding dress, we like to collaborate with Colorado wedding vendors on styled shoots. We are continually blown away by the creativity and talent from each and every business we work with! Colorado truly has the best wedding vendors in the biz. Not only do these shoots provide gorgeous photos (and features on our fave blogs like Rocky Mountain Bride, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, and more!), but they serve some major wedding inspiration.

For this shoot at Falls Event Center, design master Erika Sandoval had a vision of elegant, classy, timeless, and modern. Inspired by the ever-beautiful wedding palette of blush and black, each participating vendor was given freedom to create something magical. From the (almost) too pretty to eat cake by Ruby Jean Patisserie to the breathtaking florals by Inspired Designs, each detail came together for a flawless and inspiring result. KB Digital Designs captured every last detail with finesse with stunning photos that speak for themselves!

“When I look into designing a wedding, I always think of how that wedding will look years from now. Although I love trends, I also love weddings that are timeless; weddings you might see from decades ago but can still be a wedding done today. For this shoot I wanted to challenge myself and include several things that are trendy but still look great in photos years from now. Of course some things might be outdated in the future but in my opinion, I think you can do anything trendy just as long as it’s not overdone. For this particular shoot, the words I had in mind were elegant, classy, timeless, and modern.” – Erika Sandoval

The Details

To achieve her vision of modern timeless elegance, Erika used agate candlesticks, luxe velvet linen, and modern shapes throughout the scene. “Each piece was curated carefully, designed with intention and well balanced in order to create the overall style and look,” she said. Pink Champagne Paper created an invitation suite that mixed modern (hexagon designs) with classic (elegant script font). The Diamond Reserve provided a jaw dropping pear-shaped diamond ring surrounded by a sparkly halo (and how cute does it look in the pink The Mrs Box?). For wedding favors, drynkware provided fabulous gold drink stirrers. To us, the arrow design signifies the moving forward that is involved with marriage: moving from two individuals to one.

The Dresses

We were so excited to provide wedding gowns for this shoot. Whether a bride wants to go for the classic, timeless look portrayed in this styled shoot or something more trendy, our wide selection of gowns contains something for everyone! “Lavonne” from the L’amour by Calla Blanche collection was the perfect choice for this particular shoot. The ballgown silhouette is elegant and timeless, while the unique lace pattern and layered skirt give it a modern feel. A sparkly belt added a touch of glamour without drawing attention away from the dress.
We know a ballgown is not every bride’s vision, so, we also featured a sexier fitted gown. L’amour’s “Jessica” gown boasts an allover scalloped lace pattern, plunging neckline, and subtle sparkle. We think it looks fabulous with our bride’s timeless hairstyle and understated jewelry. Which dress is your favorite? Comment below and let us know your thoughts!
