Audry and Brian’s elegant Sanctuary Golf Course wedding was a dream come true! While planning for the day, they hoped for a night of memory making with the people they loved most. Audry dreamed of a soft, romantic vibe which she brought to reality through the florals, centerpieces, lighting, and stationery suite.

The Dress

Audry is the type of bride who knows what she wants! Her initial vision of a strapless fitted gown with a sweetheart neckline was exactly what she chose. Before visiting The Bridal Collection, she shopped at another Denver bridal shop but didn’t find what she was looking for. Luckily, her second stop was TBC and she immediately found two dresses that were top contenders! After trying both on and going back and forth, she fell madly in love with one and said “Yes”! The ivory fit and flare gown adorned with lace and sparkly beading was the most elegant gown she’d laid eyes on. On top of that, it was comfortable enough to bust a move at her reception! It was the perfect choice for her Sanctuary Golf Course wedding.

“The Bridal Collection gave me an amazing experience and everyone was able to help me along the way.  I swear I asked every person who worked at the store for their opinion! From the initial day of purchasing the dress to the alteration appointments, The Bridal Collection was supportive and encouraging and provided me with everything I needed for my big day!  I also purchased my necklace, earrings and veil at their store. Everything was outstanding!” – Audry

Special Details

One of the best parts of planning a wedding (besides wedding dress shopping, of course!) is incorporating personal details. We love how Audry included a few sentimental elements on her wedding day!

Unfortunately, she lost her grandmother during the process of planning her wedding. Her sweet grandmother had given her rosary to Audry’s mom to save as a gift for her bridal shower. Knowing how important it was to Audry, her florist wrapped it around her bridal bouquet. It was so special to have a treasured belonging of her grandmother with her as she walked down the aisle.

The second sentimental detail was a gift from her mom. When Audry got engaged, her mom took her own wedding dress to a seamstress who made a handkerchief from a piece of fabric from the dress. Audry carried it down the aisle along with her grandmother’s rosary. The beautiful handkerchief was perfect for wiping away all of the happy tears that were shed.

Finally, she and Brian wrote notes to one another prior to the wedding. They exchanged their notes just before the ceremony! Since they chose not to do a first look, this was their special moment “together” before they said their vows.

Soaking it In

Audry and Brian’s wedding day was filled with so many wonderful moments and memories. One of Audry’s favorites was sharing their first meal as husband and wife. As they sat at their adorable sweetheart table (with glittery blue linens and gold decor, swoon!) they looked around the room trying to soak in every piece of the night. Planning a wedding is a long (and often stressful!) process. Being able to see the result of all the planning, late nights, and endless decisions made the effort totally worth it. Being married to the love of her life in such a beautiful space, while surrounded by her loved ones, was perfect.

Advice for Brides

We asked Audry if she had any advice for future brides, and we love what she had to say: “Enjoy every minute!!!  The time goes so fast and it will be stressful at times, but every moment you put in will be worth it in the end!  Also, remember at the end of the day, you are getting MARRIED!! Take a deep breath and sometimes put the planning aside and enjoy time with your fiancé!”
