Boho Chic Falls Event Center Wedding

Amanda’s boho chic Falls Event Center wedding combined lush florals and rustic elements like wood with a touch of rose gold glamour. Whoever said it’s all in the details was spot-on. From the venue choice down to the smallest elements, Amanda put so much thought into every part of her wedding day.

Falls Event Center Wedding Ceremony

In June, the Falls Event Center wedding venue became Ashley Ridge by Wedgewood Weddings! Wedgewood Weddings manages a handful of Colorado wedding venues – all popular with our brides. Wedgewood at Boulder Creek has a gorgeous creek on the property and Wedgewood Black Forest has unlimited photo ops!

The event center located in Littleton, Colorado boasts stunning views of the Rocky Mountain foothills combined with tranquil water features, courtyards, and a gorgeous ballroom. The Falls Event Center wedding venue combines the benefits of a mountain getaway with the convenience of a Littleton location. What more could you ask for?

To achieve her vision of boho chic, Amanda got creative with the details. First, she used greenery throughout the ceremony space and ballroom reception. Then, she incorporated some rustic pieces like wood decor, a burlap “Mr & Mrs” banner, and lantern centerpieces. Finally, she gave the entire day a touch of glamour adding elements of gold and rose gold.

Wedding dress shopping in Denver

Amanda’s wedding dress shopping experience was interesting, to say the least. When she visited The Bridal Collection, it was a total dream! Her mom and best friend joined her as she said “yes” to the most fabulous gown. She couldn’t wait to wear it on her wedding day!

However, a few months after finding the gown, her fiance accidentally saw a photo of her dress. It was devastating! It was important for her to keep the tradition of the groom not seeing her dress until the wedding day. After the fiasco, she flew back to Colorado and made another appointment. Luckily, she found a new dress that she adored just as much as the first one. On top of that, it was from the same designer!

The “Kymmy” gown by Enzoani is romantic, classic, and unique all in one! The classic fit and flare silhouette and lace paired perfectly with a modern, sparkly criss cross back detail. The long lace train trailed behind her as she walked down the aisle at her Falls Event Center wedding ceremony and totally stunned her groom and guests.

Favorite Wedding Moments

On the morning of their wedding day, Amanda and her groom wrote letters to one another. The letters were accompanied by thoughtful gifts. During their ceremony, after reading the vows they wrote for each other, they also shared communion together.

When it was reception time, the couple stood side by side at the start of the buffet line. This was a great way for them to talk with all of their guests and thank them for joining the celebration. As an alternative to a receiving line, it was a creative and easy way to get photos with their loved ones!

Advice for future brides

“My advice for future brides is to find two or three people you REALLY trust and to delegate everything to them. I have a hard time with this because I like being in control of the outcome, but delegating also makes those you love feel like they are helping and have a hand in your special day. So, don’t be afraid to do that! Also, make sure you eat something the morning of. I was so nervous that I couldn’t, and I regret it because later on that night the alcohol hit harder than I wanted it to (oops!). And lastly, this is a sacred time between you and your spouse. Your family and friends are just here to witness! Don’t feel selfish for taking extra time to focus on you and your spouse the week of the wedding. Don’t get lost in the commotion that you forget about what it’s all about.”
