While most of our brides are local to Colorado, we also have the privilege of dressing many brides from out of state. There are a handful of reasons brides-to-be choose to go destination wedding dress shopping in Denver. First, our location is very central. If you live on the East Coast and your family is on the West Coast, Denver is a great spot to meet in the middle. Secondly, there are many couples who choose to have a destination wedding in Colorado. In some cases, brides prefer to use local vendors (including bridal shops!), so they will drive or fly out for the occasion. When it’s time to tie the knot, their dress is ready and waiting for them! Finally, we meet a lot of brides who grew up in Colorado but have since relocated. They come home to shop with their families! 

Finding the dress

Our bride Lauren lives in Maryland but flew to Denver to find the perfect dress along with her mom, sister, and maid of honor. The Bridal Collection was their third and final stop! Lauren’s stylist quickly understood her style and vision. After trying on a few dresses, she fell in love with a one-of-a-kind gown by Justin Alexander! This A-line wedding dress featured a semi-plunging neckline with a layer of tulle adorned with floral appliques. It was a dream come true!

Garden-inspired Terrain at Glen Mills Wedding 

Terrain is a lifestyle brand with stores, restaurants, and event spaces. The indoor and outdoor space at their Glen Mills location was perfect for Lauren’s garden-inspired wedding vision. The wooden farm tables and charming market lights provided a romantic rustic vibe. She kept the florals soft and neutral by using poppies, roses, and eucalyptus. Her mom and sister were the floral masterminds! 

Advice for future brides

“My advice for other brides is to enjoy every minute. The day goes by so fast. My favorite part was having all of our friends and family together in one spot. Both my husband and I have moved a bit, so it’s rare to have everyone together. It was great getting to introduce those closest to us to each other.”
