At our Colorado bridal shop, we have the privilege of meeting so many incredible women on a daily basis. Being able to share in the excitement and anticipation of a wedding day is truly a gift. During the months leading up to their weddings, we enjoy getting to know each one and learn about their dreams. But, we know the day will come when they walk into our bridal shop to pick up their dress for the big day which is often the last time we see them. Although this is an exciting moment, it’s always a little sad for us to see them go! If we’re lucky, they come back with their dress for cleaning and preservation and to show us photos of their wedding.

Fortunately, there are some circumstances where our relationship with a bride extends beyond the wedding day. Often, we see them again when they come back with a relative or friend who is a new bride-to-be. Worlds collide when our bride turns into a vendor friend! Lindsay found her dream Justin Alexander wedding dress at The Bridal Collection a few years ago (read more about her gorgeous Snowmass Cottages wedding day here!) Our entire team absolutely fell in love with Lindsay! We enjoyed getting to know her through her search for a dress, accessories, alterations, and more. After her wedding day, Lindsay shared some of her incredible wedding photos. You should have seen our reaction when she told us that she had done all of her florals!

We were so excited when we learned that Lindsay opened her own Denver wedding florist business. It’s an honor to support her dreams, and we love to have stunning fresh florals adorning our bridal shop from her floral shop! Lindsay has provided beautiful arrangements for special events and styled shoots. This year, we wanted to make Fairytale Floral our preferred Denver wedding florist. Fairytale Floral: Where it began

“Growing up, I loved to help my Mom and Aunt Patti around their gardens. Each year I would get so excited to watch all of the plants grow and the beautiful flowers bloom! My Aunt’s yard was like the Garden of Eden, with some of the most unusual and amazing flowers. I remember loving every second of it, especially when we would go to the nurseries to pick out all of the flowers. I have a distinct memory of me as a little girl sitting hidden behind the pine trees, just staring at our Foxglove plant outside of our house. I was hooked.

As I became older, I realized that I not only had a love for nursery plants, but also for cut flowers and designing. Colorado State University has one of the best Horticulture programs in the state, so I jumped at the opportunity, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Floriculture and a Floral design Certificate in May 2012.
