The Dress

Lindsay and her entourage wanted to make her wedding dress shopping day a memorable and fun experience. When she heard that The Bridal Collection offered upgraded VIB appointments, she just knew she had to splurge! With three different packages to choose from, VIB appointments are a fantastic way to make your special day even more of a memory. In addition to being paired with a master stylist and having an extended appointment time, Lindsay and her gals sipped champagne and snacked on delicious bites while they searched for the dream dress.

On top of her upgraded appointment, Lindsay shopped during a Justin Alexander trunk show! Trunk shows are so much fun at The Bridal Collection; not only can brides try on dresses months before they hit other bridal shops, but we always bring in fun vendors to enhance the celebration!

When Lindsay started looking at wedding dresses, she envisioned herself in something ultra-unique with a hippie feel. She’s a local florist and planned to be barefoot for the entire wedding day! As she perused the bridal showroom with her stylist, there was a particular Justin Alexander dress that caught her eye. Since her stylist noticed how often she kept coming back to style number 88007, she added it to the mix of dresses to try on.

As soon as they returned to the dressing room, it was the first dress she wanted to wear — and it ended up being THE ONE! It was slightly different than her original vision of a lace, off-the-shoulder gown, but it had the unique boho feel that she wanted. Not to mention the ultra sexy back detail!

The Details

Lindsay wanted her wedding day to be representative of her and Jason so many of the details were close to their hearts! Jason’s favorite things were featured at their epic scotch and cigar bar. To her bouquet, Lindsay attached a lace flower that she had saved from her mom’s veil years ago; she kept it a surprise until they were getting ready on the big day! She also wore her grandmother’s pearls, which was such a sweet gesture.

They went Colorado casual, from the authentic Colorado mountain venue to the yard games, but they incorporated some elevated elements such as incredibly tasty Spanish food and to-die-for floral tablescapes with the prettiest colors (can you tell she’s a florist?!). Because Lindsay works in the wedding industry, it was important that their wedding day felt different than the norm. Rather than worry about tradition or what others would think, they focused on creating a day filled with their closest family and friends, scotch, doughnuts, and lots of dancing!
