About The Bride & Groom

Cristina and Jeff met during their freshman year of college. What started out as a friendship eventually blossomed into something so much more. For the next nine years, the two experienced growing up together from young adults to being a married couple, travelling abroad, and starting a new chapter in Denver. “[Jeff] is my best friend and I know I can go to him with anything. We can have fun in any situation and he has a way of always making me laugh and feel at ease. Life is an adventure with him and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us.” Now that’s love!

How Did He Ask?

Jeff proposed on Easter Sunday at Lookout Mountain. It was a beautiful day with snow still on the ground. Being from Florida, Cristina is still mildly obsessed with snow so it made for a perfect setting. Jeff and Cristina always bring their camera and tripod wherever they go, so when he set up the tripod, Cristina didn’t think too much about it. One second they are taking a normal picture and the next he was on one knee. The photo was set on multi-shot so he was able to get pictures of Cristina’s entire reaction. It was such an amazing moment and a perfect way to celebrate Easter with the start of their new beginning.

Wedding Dress Shopping at The Bridal Collection

Cristina’s family is still in Florida, so her bride tribe planned a girls weekend to go wedding dress shopping in Denver. While browsing Pinterest to get an idea of what styles she was interested in, Cristina stumbled upon a Stella York wedding dress. Although she always pictured herself wearing a ballgown or A-line wedding dress, she couldn’t get this Stella York fit and flare off of her mind. She saved it to her wedding dress board.

When Cristina called The Bridal Collection to set up her dress shopping appointment, she asked about the Stella York dress she was still dying to try on. It was there! She knew The Bridal Collection had to be her first stop. The moment she slipped into the Stella York fit and flare, she fell in love! It was so different than Cristina had always envisioned, which she says is the perfect cliche. The happy tears started flowing. Then, when her entourage saw her in the dress, they started tearing up as well!  “Who actually ends up getting that dress they pinned on Pinterest?”, jokes the bride. She knew there was no need to keep shopping – this was the one.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

At The Bridal Collection, we believe there is nothing better than being involved and giving back to your community. When we found out one of our brides works with American Cancer Society, we were so excited to partner with her! Cristina is the Community Manager for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, an organization that holds walks to raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. These events raise money to fund innovative research, provide free information and support, and help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable. This October, The Bridal Collection team will be walking for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer as well as donating a portion of sales to the cause. Join us on October 22, 2017 for this event and consider giving financially to help fund life-saving breast cancer research studies, crucial patient care programs, and education and prevention initiatives that have helped thousands of people across the globe.      bridesmaids cheers denver bride wedding dress shopping denver bridesmaids first look the bridal collection denver bridal shop st augustine wedding ceremony wedding bouquet and rings florida wedding denver bride bride and groom st augustine wedding bride and groom embrace florida wedding venue bride and groom black and white dancing wedding reception details Vendors: Photography:  A.
