How He Asked

While Travis was living in Texas playing semi-pro baseball, he planned a trip to Colorado to visit Emma and go on their first official date. As many in Colorado often do, they went on a drive to explore the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. A little over 3 years later, the couple escaped on a weekend getaway to the same mountain town. Travis planned to take Emma ice-skating, which he thought would be ultra-romantic with the twinkly lights and Christmas music playing in the background. Travis got down on one knee, on the cold ice, and asked Emma to spend the rest of her life with him. She, of course, said yes!

Finding the Perfect Dress

Once they were engaged, Emma did what most brides do – started scrolling through Pinterest for hours upon hours, searching for the perfect wedding dress. After pinning numerous styles, she had an idea of what she was looking for. Emma shopped at every bridal store in Denver, but as she tried on more and more dresses, they all started blending together in her mind. She took a much-needed day off from shopping to clear her head. Her next stop was The Bridal Collection. She started trying on the same styles of dresses she imagined herself wearing, but still they just weren’t right. Once her bridal stylist added a beautiful sparkle belt to an elegant Martina Liana wedding dress, it all came together perfectly. She finally fell in love with the perfect dress!

Wedding Day Memories

As she looks back on the best day of her life, a few things stick out in Emma’s mind. In the morning, as the hustle and bustle of getting ready and making sure everything was where it needed to be began to kick in, she started to get extremely nervous. Her bridesmaids circled around her and prayed over her. It was such an emotional moment and a sweet gesture that she will always cherish. Another favorite part of the day happened when she was waiting to begin her walk down the aisle. As she heard the music begin to play, she peered out the window looking over to the ceremony space, where she saw her groom waiting for her at the altar, smiling. At that moment, all of the nerves melted away; she could hardly wait to meet him at that altar, hold his hands, and say “I do” to forever.
