Crafternoon – Our Favorite Time of the Day for Wedding Pins!

Have you got a little bit of extra time right now?  Are you crafty or looking for ways to save money for your wedding, or both?  We love Pinterest!  You can find us, along with all of our favorite wedding pins, at https://www.pinterest.com/tbcdenver/.

While many accounts are strictly instructional, our account serves as wedding pin inspiration and just the fun of looking at all things pretty!  Now is a great opportunity to try your hand at some DIY ideas for your flowers, centerpieces, decor, reception ideas, or all those different paper goods you may need.  Maybe you can get your fiancé, roomies, or family in on the projects too while still following the social distancing guidelines.  Stay safe and get creative!

FLOWERS

We love flowers at The Bridal Collection.  You can always find fresh or silk arrangements around our shop.  With so many gorgeous, colorful venues here in Colorado, it’s easy to go simple and minimalist with your flowers.  See these wedding pins for bouquet inspiration and boutonniere instructions.

RECEPTION

The reception is usually the most costly part of any wedding.  Why not save some money by making a few things?  Even if you aren’t particularly crafty, try something while you’re stuck at home – you might reveal a hidden talent!  We’re currently loving these suspended flower centerpieces.  If you or you fiancé like to use power tools, check out this wooden lanterns tutorial.  Have you thought about backyard games for an outdoor wedding?

STATIONERY

From Save the Dates and invitations, to seating charts, there are so many paper items at a wedding.  Some goods can be done in a different way or even eliminated, but chances are, you will still need some printing.  There are oodles of complimentary options online for printing yourself.  Be sure to analyze the cost of buying your own paper and printer ink versus ordering what you need before you decide to use those “free” downloads.  Here’s one of our favorite printables with a greenery theme.
