Traditional Catholic Wedding
Hannah and Nick are very much old souls, with a love of the traditional, classic, and elegant. They knew, without a doubt, that they wanted a Catholic wedding. The cathedral photos speak for themselves! With the ornate high ceilings and stained glass windows, there was very little need for decor. When it came to the reception, Hannah worked with Taylor from White Willow Events to style their gold and ivory themed wedding. Taylor brought Hannah’s vision to life, making everything absolutely stunning and timeless.
Tying the Knot in KE
Hannah visited three different Denver bridal shops in search of the perfect wedding dress. Before she started shopping, she knew she wanted a classic wedding dress. Although she had that in mind, she made sure to try on a little bit of everything, just to be sure. While she was shopping, it was important that she could envision the entire look. She said “[The Bridal Collection] made the process very enjoyable, even though I was feeling a lot of stress to find the ‘perfect dress’! I would recommend The Bridal Collection to any bride due to their vast selection and amazing customer service.”
Hannah fell in love with the elegantly, simple, classic look of the “Elizabeth” gown from our in-house collection Kathryn Elizabeth. The gorgeous, luxe fabric, classic A-line silhouette, and beautiful bateau neckline made her look and feel like a true bride. She paired it with a simple cathedral length veil to complete the look!
Something Borrowed
Hannah used lace from her late paternal grandmother to line the fur shawl she wore with her wedding dress. In addition to the lace, she also wrapped her grandmother’s rosary around her bouquet. This was special, not only because it was her grandmother’s, but also because it had been blessed by the Pope! Adding these personal touches made Hannah feel like her grandmother was with her on her wedding day.
Advice for brides
“Keep the most important thing, the most important thing. There will be many highs and lows of planning, but if you keep your head and heart in the right place you will be so happy with your decisions!”
