Every December we anxiously await for Pantone to release their color of the year. Since 2000, Pantone has chosen a “Color of the Year” by looking at trends across all of daily life: entertainment, tech, fashion, and more.

This year, the color of the year is “Living Coral” — a vibrant, yet mellow tone. This color is bright and energizing with a soft side. When the color was released, we dreamed of all of the different ways our Colorado brides might incorporate “Living Coral” into their wedding day.

“Life in Color is Better” Spring Wedding Preview at Archetype Distillery

Earlier this spring, Trulife Studios, a collaborative Colorado wedding and event planning studio, hosted a fun twist on a bridal show. Their “Life in Color is Better Spring Wedding Preview” held at Archetype Distillery celebrated Pantone’s 2019 color of the year. At the event, the best Denver wedding vendors formed teams to create different “Living Coral” vignettes. It was amazing to see all of the creative inspiration!

We were honored to provide a wedding dress for one of the vignettes. The Tatum gown from L’amour by Calla Blanche was the perfect choice! The romantic, classic ball gown silhouette features modern details like a plunging v-neckline, flirty horsehair-trimmed skirt, and gorgeous seam work. An embellished bridal sash had the perfect rose gold tone to complement the fresh, airy “Living Coral” color palette. The talented Cassandra Garza complemented the wedding dress with the most stunning, spring inspired hair and makeup on model Meredith Gerdes.

Our team’s planner was Prisma Events, and they pulled out all the stops! From the perfectly blended color palette of neutral, yet bright to the incredible floral created by our longtime friend Erin Ashley Design, the scene felt like a dreamy summer wedding in Colorado. Allwell Rents and Colorado Party Rentals provided everything to bring the vision to life. We especially love the gorgeous bronze place settings!

Iced and Dazzle created three different cakes that were almost too pretty to eat, while Elevated Catering provided some delicious eats! The floral icing on the cake and the gorgeous stationery by Lucky Onion perfectly matched the floral arrangements. All of the wonderful vendors came together to create a fabulous vignette.

Giving Back

At The Bridal Collection, giving back is something that we highly value. We have been truly blessed, so it is important that we pass on the blessings to others in our community and world. So when we found out that the event donated ticket sales to Life is Better Rescue, we were ecstatic!  Just as The Bridal Collection wants to be there to help you celebrate all the big moments in your life, Life is Better Rescue built its foundation around giving animals and people the chance to connect and form a lifelong loving relationship.
