Meet the Designer!
Lynette Threlfall was raised in Perth, Australia. She has been sewing since primary school, and first caught the ‘fashion bug’ when she was originally taught to sew by her grandmother. She has been creating custom bridal designs since her early 20’s, and has worked in clothing manufacturing for the last 20 years, the past 10 within the bridal industry.
As Vice President of Design Development for Essense of Australia, Lynette’s passion for proper fit and construction, and innovating in that area, plays a large role in the company’s bridal design methodology. As much as Lynette loves the creativity of designing and detailing a gown, she feels it is not just the visual design that is important, but creation of the best product for stores as well as brides – one that has a great fit, at the best value, and is easily alterable so stores can provide the final product the brides are wanting. Thus, she provides guidance to the Essense of Australia designers throughout their process, ensuring the best quality product, at the best value, are produced for our stores and our brides.
In addition to the fabulous, never-before-seen designs by Martina Liana, our trunk show will be featuring a new Denver wedding bakery.
Dessert N Dash From the owner, Jennifer: “Ever since I can remember I have loved baking, learning from my mom and grandmother. Once my grandmother could no longer bake I humbly took over her holiday recipes and started to elevate them and create new desserts. After having children I made the decision not to return to the corporate world but instead follow my love of baking. It is a great feeling to create delicious desserts for others and make them happy. I look forward to creating baked to order pastries for your next event. Whether its tarts and croissants for your wedding or cookies for your shower I can help make your celebration a memorable occasion.”
