Often, elopements take place in areas off the beaten path – requiring couples to hike or take off-road vehicles to find that perfect, secluded area. Emmy, elopement photographer from Celebrate Again, was brainstorming a concept for a winter elopement styled shoot in Colorado. She said “everyone in Colorado knows the best places are the ones you have to work to get to.” However, ATVs and hiking wouldn’t cut it in the dead of winter. Then it dawned on her – a snowmobile adventure elopement was the answer! By using snowmobiles, couples can not only have a fun-filled wedding day, but they can access those hard-to-reach epic spots to say their vows during the beautiful (and breathtakingly cold) Colorado winter!

When Emmy approached us with this styled shoot idea, we were so excited! However, snowmobiling in a wedding dress poses many challenges. We realized the best option was bridal separates – the model could wear the bodysuit under her snow pants and put the skirt on once she reached her destination. On top of that, the full skirt meant our model CJ of Everyday Chiffon could wear cozy leggings underneath to stay warm as she posed for photos!

After planning every detail, the time came to make the magic happen. LA Flower Bar & Gifts created the absolutely perfect bouquet with pops of red and loads of texture that fit perfectly with the style of the elopement. The “bride”, “groom”, stylists and photographers trekked their way to the top of the mountain (getting stuck a few times on the way) and the photos speak for themselves!
