The Start of Forever

Before they started dating, Tiffany spent the night at Casey’s mom’s house in Golden. While making breakfast for them, his mom suggested that Tiffany join their family for a wedding in Red Feather Lakes. She offered to rent a cute little cabin for Tiffany and Casey. Without missing a beat, Casey went wide-eyed and dropped his fork, not amused that his mom would be so bold to say something without his permission. However, there was no turning back! Tiffany was going to the wedding.

A week later, they drove up to Red Feather Lakes together and danced the night away. After a few rounds of Crown, they really started to hit it off. The next morning, hanging out together with Casey’s family just felt right. A few days later, they went on a double date to a Colorado Rockies game and spent the night at his mom’s house again. As they were falling asleep, Casey turned to Tiffany and said “Is it safe to call you my girlfriend?” The rest is history.

How He Asked

After a few years together, Tiffany and Casey booked a trip to Napa Valley. Not long before the trip, Casey decided it was time to get an engagement ring for Tiffany – he planned to propose during their trip! Before a day of wine tasting, Casey was dressed and waiting for Tiffany to be ready to leave. He snuck the ring box into the pocket of his shorts, but it was difficult to hide! When she noticed his shorts were a bit wrinkled, she offered to iron them. He quickly refused, avoiding a close call!

When they arrived at the wine tasting, they realized it was just the two of them in the tasting room – so romantic! However, Casey knew it wasn’t the right place to propose. After sampling the wines, they ordered an Uber to their next destination – a castle tour at Castello di Amorosa. On the way to the castle, their driver asked if they wanted a photo in front of the famous Napa Valley sign. It was the perfect moment! Tiffany gave the driver her phone to snap a few photos, as Casey grabbed Tiffany’s hand, pulling her close, before getting down on one knee! It was a day they will never forget.

Mr & Mrs

Although her entire wedding day seemed to fly by, Tiffany will always remember the moment right after the ceremony. As the officiant pronounced them Mr. and Mrs. Barlow, they kissed and held up their hands with excitement! Then, handing her new husband her bouquet, she jumped on his back as he walked down the aisle. It was an unforgettable moment, basking in newly wedded bliss while their closest friends and family stood and cheered them on as they began their new adventure.
