The Bridal Collection’s Favorite Colorado Mountain Wedding Venues

Choosing our favorite Colorado mountain venues is nearly impossible! Let’s be honest, Colorado has some of the most amazing wedding venues in the world, but, with help from our brides, staff and vendors, we have come with our five favorite mountain venues.  

 

Camp Hale

Adventurous couples craving an authentic mountain experience will love Camp Hale, a 90-acre, rustic ranch venue outside of Vail, Colorado.  It’s ceremony space, on a small island in the middle of a 5-acre lake, surrounded by mountain peaks is seriously amazing!

Beyond the ceremony space, the camp has a beautiful outdoor cocktail area, along with a large lakeside tent that can accomodate 300 guests.  At the end of the evening, the bride and groom, along with their guests, can stargaze and make s’mores around a bonfire.  Lodging is available on-site.  

It goes without saying that the photos at Camp Hale are incredible.  In fact, The Bridal Collection is planning a winter style shoot at the venue in February. We can’t wait to show you the photos.  Stay tuned!

Devil’s Thumb Ranch

Breathtaking backdrops and wide-open spaces are the norm at this upscale resort and venue just outside of Winter Park, Colorado.  The ranch offers five, unique on-site venues that can accomodate 30 – 350 guests.  Menus for each venue are customizable and use locally sourced ingredients.

Devil’s Thumb Ranch is perfect for a Colorado destination wedding thanks to its beautiful guest rooms, on-site amenities and ranch activities.  Couples and their guests can enjoy yoga, ziplines, horseback riding, fishing,  paddle boarding and more.  Your guests may never leave!

Timber Ridge at Keystone Resort

The bride and groom and guests are treated to magnificent mountain views as they travel by gondola to this mountain top venue.  Ceremonies typically take place on an outdoor deck with views of the Gore and Tenmile mountain ranges.  The upscale lodge-like indoor reception space with a two-story fireplace and cathedral ceiling, seats up to 300 people.

Keystone Resort has several other venue options available ranging from a former homestead ranch to a venue you reach via a sleigh ride.  A variety of menus are also available.

Donovan Pavilion

Located in the heart of Vail, yet surrounded by 50-acres of park and open space, this venue gives you the convenience of an in-town location with the feel of a mountain lodge. Couples can say their “I Dos” outdoors on a patio next to the Gore River or get married in a nearby mountain chapel.  The reception space is a huge stone and timber lodge that can host 300 people with great views of the surrounding mountains.

This Colorado mountain wedding venue allows you to select your own vendors so if you want grandma to bake your cake or your best man to be the DJ, Donovan Pavilion is a great choice.

Dunton Hot Springs

This intimate venue, an hour outside of Telluride, is made for couples who want to give their guests a Colorado wedding weekend to remember.  The venue offers 44 beautifully appointed guest cabins, along with facilities including a mineral hot springs, dance hall & saloon, a gorgeous open-air chapel, two spa treatment cabins and a boxing gym.  Couples have the option of renting the entire venue or a portion of the site.
