Wedding Day Vision The vision for Jennie & Casey’s…
Fairytale Highlands Ranch Mansion Wedding
When Christina began planning her Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding, she knew she wanted it to be magical. Her dream wedding day was going to feel like a real-life fairytale! To make her fairytale wedding come to life, she used a romantic color palette of blush, marsala, ivory, and champagne. The venue was the perfect choice because it actually contains a special memory for Christina and Zach! These two are high school sweethearts — and believe it or not, their first prom together was at the Mansion. Because of this, a Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding was an easy choice.
The Highlands Ranch Mansion is stunning on its own, so Christina wanted to keep the decor simple. However, the one thing she wanted to add was a trellis to serve a double purpose: a ceremony arch and a backdrop for their sweetheart table at the reception. The floral-adorned trellis added so much romance to her fairytale wedding day.
Christina needed a fairytale wedding dress for her Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding
Although it was Christina’s first time shopping for wedding dresses, she left The Bridal Collection with the dress of her dreams. At first, she was looking for a wedding dress that was mostly lace and had a boho style to it. After trying on 6 or 7 different gowns, she fell in love with a totally different style. While she didn’t expect to love a wedding dress with lots of sparkle and beading, it ended up being just what she needed. She walked down the aisle wearing “Summer” from L’amour by Calla Blanche. The a-line wedding dress features a plunging v-neck, gorgeous sparkling bodice, and an ethereal skirt with horsehair trim. After she added the “Ruby” veil from Veil Trends, she knew it was the one.
Christina truly felt like a princess — ideal for her Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding! What ultimately led her to say “YES!” to this dress was that she felt 100% like herself while wearing it. If you want to find your bridal style like Christina did, book an appointment to shop with a stylist!
Dancing the night away
One thing that Christina will always remember about her Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding day was the reception. Dancing the night away with friends and family was everything she dreamed of! Christina and Zach kept the guest list at 100 guests, so almost everyone knew each other in one way or another. It was one big party! Soundmaster Entertainment kept the beats going all night, and every single guest spent the evening on the dance floor. When it was time for the sendoff, nobody was ready to leave. You know you’ve planned a killer shindig when nobody wants the night to end!
Advice for future brides
“My advice to future brides would be to get most of your planning done as soon as possible. I was engaged on June 1, 2018 and my husband Zach and I set our wedding date for June 1, 2019 giving us a year to plan for the big day. We got most of our vendors booked within the first 2-3 months of being engaged and this alleviated lots of stress as it got within 6 months of the wedding. In the several months leading up to our wedding in June, we got to focus on the small details since we had already taken care of the big to-do items. Another piece of advice is to remember that not everything is going to go 100% perfect and that’s okay. It goes so fast and the most important thing is to remember that at the end of the day you will be married to the love of your life.” – Christina
