Wedding Day Vision

The vision for Jennie & Casey’s wedding day was very romantic, whimsical, and glamourous. To achieve this, the color palette included creams, ivories, light grays, rose quartz, light blush, accents of gold, and a grayish purple. After touring a few different Denver wedding venues, they knew the Highlands Ranch Mansion was the perfect place to begin the next chapter of their lives. From the spectacular views, perfectly manicured lawn, elegant interiors (check out their bridal suite!), and unique architectural details, it was as though the Mansion was made for Jennie & Casey’s wedding day. As soon as they stepped onto the grounds, they knew the venue search was over.

Wedding Dress Shopping

When it was time to find a wedding dress for her Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding, Jennie visited The Bridal Collection, just a few blocks away from her wedding venue! Before trying on wedding dresses, she had a vision of a romantic lace wedding dress that stood out without being over-the-top. After Jennie tried on a few wedding dresses, she found a gown that was everything she hoped for and more. The lace was romantic and timeless, and the sweetheart neckline was both flattering and feminine. For added drama, the dress featured a gorgeous train. Dreamy fabric buttons and a belt with a hint of sparkle were a few other details that completed the look. Jennie finished her wedding day style with a floor-length veil, a stunning updo, and fabulous earrings. We think she looked absolutely perfect.

Favorite Wedding Day Memories

Jennie and Casey opted for a first look before their Highlands Ranch Mansion wedding. As Jennie made her way toward her groom on the front steps of the Mansion, she felt a roller coaster of nerves and emotions. Once she tapped his shoulder to turn around, his reaction was a moment that Jennie will treasure for the rest of her life. He turned around and immediately buried his face in her shoulder (Jennie calls it “koala-ing”) and started tearing up. Sharing this special moment together, just the two of them, melted away a lot of their nerves before the ceremony.

The couple decided to write their own vows to one another for the ceremony. As Jennie listened to her groom read his vows to her, she could hardly believe that she was actually marrying this man — the one who saw so many things in her that she never saw in herself. As he shared his vows filled with love, laughter, and vulnerability, she felt beyond loved by her husband-to-be. It was certainly a feeling that cannot be described in words.
