Mountain views, vibrant florals, and a drop dead gorgeous wedding gown are just a few of the reasons we fell in love with Aubrey’s rustic chic wedding at Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel.   

When it came time to plan the happiest day of her life, Aubrey knew she wanted a “rustic chic” style. First, she started with the color palette. Maroon, navy blue, gold, and blush pink accented by bright, springtime florals gave a pop of color. Then, Aubrey utilized a lot of wildflowers and wooden accents throughout the reception venue to add the ideal rustic vibe. 

 

Of course, a loved one helped bring her dream Rustic Chic Colorado Wedding to life. She says “I achieved my perfect wedding day vision through my mom. We have always been extremely close, and once I explained to her the style I wanted, she went to work and decorated the whole venue to perfection.”

Wedding Dress Shopping in Denver

Aubrey fell in love with Allure Couture style C459. In fact, she only needed to try on three gowns before she knew it was “the one”! 

“My dress shopping experience was incredible at The Bridal Collection. I came before I even got engaged, just to look at possible options with the family members I had in town. Susan was helping me and she made me feel so special and beautiful. She helped me find my perfect dress after only trying on 3! She sized it perfect to my body and I was in and out! I was surprised at how many modest dress options were available!

I loved having my family members there on that special day and I’m so grateful for Susan and how much passion she has for her job and how compassionate she is with those she works with. Every time I came back to the store for fittings, everyone at the store always commented on my dress and made me feel not only special, but great about the dress I had chosen.” – Aubrey

 

Favorite Moments

There are three moments from her wedding day that Aubrey considers her favorites! First off, she will always treasure their first look! As she walked up to her future husband and he turned around, he had this look on his face that she will never forget. She hasn’t seen so much love and happiness in someone’s eyes! Immediately he started to tear up — all he wanted to do was hold her close and embrace the moment. 

 

Her second favorite memory was getting her hair and makeup done by one of our favorites — Schume Navarro of Peacock Vanity! “She made getting ready so fun and stress-free. Schume made my dream look for hair and makeup come alive during the very first trial run. She made me feel beautiful on the day that every bride deserves to feel like a queen!” 

 

Last, but certainly not least, is the ceremony exit with her now-husband. They got to hug and greet all of their family and friends who came to support them on the happiest day of their lives. So much love is overwhelming (in the best possible way!) and it felt wonderful being surrounded by so many loved ones. 

Advice for Future Brides

“My advice for future brides would be to enjoy every minute of one of the most special journeys you will have in your lifetime. Take pictures of each stage of your wedding planning, be involved in every step, and don’t be afraid to be unique and pick things that you might not see too often. One of the things that made my day so perfect was low stress. I didn’t have stress on my wedding day because I had planned every little detail long before my wedding day, to be sure everything would run smoothly.

My last piece of advice is to make sure that you are surrounded by people who love you and who support you in every decision you make. My family and friends made my wedding day the most incredible day of my life because they loved me and only wanted what was best for me!” – Aubrey
