Italy and Colorado collide to create the perfect Rustic Tuscany wedding inspiration at Villa Parker, a wedding venue just a short drive from The Bridal Collection!

Photographer Jewels Gray (Photography by Jewels) dreamed of a Mediterranean-inspired shoot that still felt authentic to Colorado. We think she totally nailed it! From the venue choice to the floral details to the delicious appetizer and dessert spreads, this shoot serves as achievable wedding inspiration for brides who love the “Rustic Tuscany” feel.

The Details

Villa Parker was the obvious choice for a Tuscany-inspired wedding in Denver. The Mediterranean estate features a grand entrance and vibrant gardens, the perfect setting for a romantic soiree. Petals ‘n Grapes crafted stunning floral arrangements with a soft greyish-green palette and loads of texture. Her arrangements in the fountain served as the ceremony centerpiece, and can we talk about the table runner?! Perfection.

Now, it wouldn’t be an Italian party without tons of food! Jewels, the photographer and visionary of the shoot, put together the entire spread herself and when you see the photos, you’ll be impressed. She covered everything, from the curated Antipasti to the Italian wedding soup, meatballs with marinara, caprese skewers, and all the way down to the Italian olive oils and balsamic vinegars.

A trip to Italy isn’t complete without sampling the finest wine, Proseccos, and Limoncellos. Thankfully, Peak Beverage brought Italy to Colorado with their fabulous selection of beverages and authentic Italian cocktails! Are you drooling yet?

Finally, the Mediterranean feast was finished off with the classics — cannolis, tiramisu, and of course — gelato! Little Bites Bakery created the cutest tiramisu cups along with shortbread cookies, biscottis, and cake pops! Dessert was enjoyed with one of the coolest concepts — a wedding coffee bar! The Espresso Affair brought their A game with a fabulous setup and perfectly crafted coffee drinks.

The Dress

When we think of Italian weddings, we think of nothing but romance. So, when we were asked to participate in this Villa Parker styled shoot, the first thing that came to our mind was Martina Liana. ML is world renowned for their romantic, feminine designs that are unique, flattering, and made with the finest fabrics.

The “bride”’ flaunted her curves in this Martina Liana mermaid wedding dress. The perfect mix of romantic and sexy, we can’t help but fall in love with this gown. From the plunging neckline (one of the 2019 trends we blogged about last week!) to the textured beading and lace details, the dress embodies confidence, global glamour, and impeccable style. Adding a long, lace-trimmed veil made for some fabulous photos.
