Brenna & Matt tied the knot at their beautiful sunset wedding in Denver.

How Did He Ask?

Since Brenna has a knack for figuring out surprises, her sweetheart, Matt, was determined to make sure she would never see a proposal coming. Some of their friends (who were in on the surprise) invited the two of them for a casual Friday night dinner. Prior to the event, Matt arranged for their families to be at the dinner. As they walked into the house, Brenna was greeted by her family but before she even had a chance to wonder what was happening, Matt got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. While surrounded by the most important people in her life, she said yes! The casual Friday night dinner became an engagement party, and the group celebrated all night! Brenna says “Matt totally pulled off the perfect surprise – I had NO idea!”

Shopping at The Bridal Collection

Brenna first visited The Bridal Collection with her sister when she found her dream wedding gown. After recalling such a wonderful experience, she made TBC the first stop on her dress shopping day. She raves about Jordan, her bridal stylist, “she made me feel calm and confident and definitely knows her stuff!”. While thoroughly enjoying her time trying on several different wedding gown styles she hadn’t found “the one” until the moment she saw herself in Stella York style number 6245. She knew this was the dress she would wear walking down the aisle. She said yes! Canceling the rest of her shopping appointments, Brenna spent the rest of day celebrating with her entourage and a good margarita!

Favorite Memory of the Wedding Day

Despite the unpredictability that comes with spring in Denver, Brenna and Matt took a risk and chose an outdoor ceremony at The Barn at Raccoon Creek. April is arguably the most temperamental month, with one day being a sunny 75 degrees followed by a blizzard the next day. Thankfully, the weather on Brenna and Matt’s April wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. The blossoming trees, bright green grass, and picturesque sunset made for a memorable day. Brenna’s favorite memory was the ceremony, which took place at sunset. What a special moment to say “I do” while surrounded by all of the people they love. To top it all off, a close friend was the ceremony officiant.

The Perfect Dress

Brenna’s Stella York wedding dress is the epitome of romantic. This gown features elegant lace sleeves and a fun, sheer cutout along the beautiful sweetheart neckline. The silhouette is extremely flattering, Hugging curves flawlessly, the silhouette is extremely flattering. The flared skirt is accented with a scalloped, lace trim. The back of the dress surprises with a dramatic keyhole of the most elegant sheer lace. Meticulous lace detailing with hand-sewn beading add the perfect finishing touch to the gown.
