Rustic Elegance at Arrowhead Golf Club

Margo wanted her wedding day to be rustic, yet elegant. Classy and simple. The first thing she knew she wanted was sunflowers! Ever since she can remember, she’s always loved sunflowers. Even when they first started dating her now-husband brought her sunflowers and made her feel so loved. Once, he blindfolded her and drove her to this incredible field of sunflowers! So it was a no-brainer to incorporate them on her wedding day.

From the views at their Arrowhead Country Club wedding, to the hand-lettered signage, to the bright pop of sunflowers, everything came together for a simple, elegant soiree.

Wedding Dress Shopping in Denver

Before she started wedding dress shopping, Margo envisioned herself walking down the aisle in a lace, form-fitting wedding gown. In fact, the first thing she told her bridal stylist? “No ballgowns and no tulle.” That is, until she laid eyes on Justin Alexander #8779. The moment she saw that dress, she knew she had to try it on! Once she saw herself in the gown, that was it. It made her feel more beautiful than any other dress she’d tried on. Something about the chic, simple bodice and dramatic horsehair tulle skirt made her feel like a princess.

Margo accessorized her wedding day look by adding a simple beaded belt for a hint of sparkle. To finish it off, she wore the most beautiful baby’s breath floral crown. She looked like a true Colorado bride!

The First Look

Margo’s first look with her groom was very special. One of her favorite wedding day memories was that intimate moment with just the two of them (and their photographer, of course!). Another one of her most significant moments was during their Arrowhead Golf Club wedding ceremony. The officiant encouraged the bride and groom to turn around and look at all of their guests. Everyone was there for the same reason: to support them on their wedding day and throughout their marriage. There had never been anything else like that moment; it’s truly a memory they will cherish forever.
