Spruce Mountain Ranch is a 450 acre, family-owned ranch…
Whimsical & Feminine Wedding Inspiration at Spruce Mountain Ranch
Colorado is home to some of the most fabulous wedding venues in the country. Whether you’re saying “I do” on top of a mountain covered in fluffy white snow or at a rustic ranch in the valley (or anything in between!), the views are guaranteed to be impeccable. It’s no wonder why so many couples from out of state choose to tie the knot in our beautiful locale!
One of our absolute favorite venues is Spruce Mountain Ranch. Many TBC brides choose this venue for their wedding day. We love how each wedding is unique and individual to the bride and groom. The venue’s variety of indoor and outdoor spaces offer endless opportunities to make your wedding day uniquely yours.
A ranch wedding doesn’t necessitate cowboy boots and burlap — it can be soft and feminine as well! A team of talented Colorado wedding vendors wanted to show how versatile this rustic wedding venue can be. They planned and executed a stunning Spruce Mountain Ranch styled shoot that celebrated femininity, love, and marriage.
The Design
Prive Event Design set the scene with soft, stunning florals throughout the space. Then, gold touches like the flatware, gold-rimmed glasses, and geometric terrariums added the perfect hint of elegance and glamour. Hand-lettered tile place cards lay atop napkins with a whimsical, feminine pattern. Finally, to tie it all together, votives were scattered about the tables to elevate the romance. We think Prisma Events nailed the design by creating the perfect balance of modern and fun.
A classic, 3-tiered wedding cake by The Makery featured fresh flowers and gold accents, and it was almost too pretty to eat! And finally, is there a better way to celebrate being newly wed than with a craft cocktail? The cutest-ever Cocktail Caravan “Lolita” served up some drinks that were pretty in pink and delicious to boot!
The Dresses
When the models were dolled up by Paige Kayla and slipped into their gowns, the feminine fairytale came to life. One bride wore a baby blue Justin Alexander ball gown (perfect for your “something blue!”) paired with an ultra-dreamy floral crown. The rich silk dupion fabric, deep V-back, and plunging neckline created drama and romance that went beautifully with the entire vibe of the styled shoot. The other bride slipped into a sparkly Martina Liana A-line wedding dress and a headband that complemented her gown with a subtle glimmer. After the rain let up, the golden Colorado light caught the shimmering tulle skirt as the ladies danced through the green grass. No, we’re not making this up! The entire styled shoot was as romantic as a movie. (Check out the video below!)
There are many lessons to be learned from this Spruce Mountain Ranch styled shoot. First, the only thing more beautiful than a bride is TWO brides. Second, rain on your wedding day brings good luck (and in some cases, the most glorious light you’ve ever seen!). Finally, with creativity and the best wedding vendors in the biz, you can transform any wedding venue into what you’ve always dreamed of.
